CHAPTER II. ECONOMİCAL FACTORS AFFECTİNG AZERBAİJAN

2.1. GDP

GDP is, above all, an indicator of production and reflects the final result of the production activities of the country's producer residents. GDP can be calculated according to each stage of the recycling cycle in the following ways: [11] production (costs); distribution (income); end use (consumption). When calculating GDP by the production method, the value added at each stage of production of the final product is summed.

In order to further improve the provision of statistical data in the country, accelerate the harmonization of the national statistical system with international standards and the development of a unified information system of state statistics, including "e-statistics", One of the main directions of the State Program for the Development of Official Statistics in the Republic of Azerbaijan is the improvement of the national accounting system. Thus, the revision of accounts and tables to be improved on the basis of MHS-2008 is one of the main priorities of official statistics in the country, used to describe and analyze macroeconomic processes and allows a comprehensive, consistent and coordinated assessment of economic transactions and indicators.

The distribution method is also used to calculate GDP. However, it should be noted that this is not the main method.
