  1. Listening. Listen and fill the gaps.

A: Hello, Lola.
L: Hi, Akmal.
A: How are you?
L: Fine, thanks and you?
A: Not bad, thank you.

A: Because the weather is bad. It’s very hot today.

L: Why do you like cool weather?
A: Because when it’s ….. I can’t go out. It’s boring. But in cool weather I can play football with my friends and go for a ….. .

  1. Reading. Read about four people. Which season is each one talking about?Write the season in the gap.

  • My favourite season is …………………………….. I love the long, hot days. My children like playing in the park and ice creams. I sometimes go to the beach Southend with my family. Last year in August I went to Turkey to visit my sister and my cousins.

  • I like ………………………………. best. The weather is sometimes very beautiful in October. trees are very pretty when the leaves go red brown and yellow. My children like starting a new class at school and learning new things.
