How to change the angle of the armrest:
The sides of the sofa are transformed into armrests or headrests, compressed in the direction
of the arrow, as shown in the picture. The sides are in three positions. If the armrest is in the raised
state when using the sofa, the load on it should not exceed 40 kg (Pic. 3).

Mattresses made of polyurethane foam produced by the Andersen factory are used for sofas
transformed by the tango method, 12 cm thick and with a density of 30-35 kg/m3. Such mattresses
form a flat surface of the bed. The “Anderssen” factory also produces chair-beds with a “tango”

mechanism. Its back has three positions: for lying, for resting in a relaxed position, and for sitting
(Pic. 4).

Benefits of the tango sofa:
−
the sofa can be easily transformable;
−
the bed part is flat (there are no connecting seams);
three positions of the speaker: for sleeping, for resting in a relaxed position and for
sitting;
−
armrests protrude as a headrest in the transformed state;
there is a special place for storing bed expenses;
−
a “tango” sofa takes up less space than a “click-clack” sofa.
“Telescope”.
When choosing a sofa, it is necessary to pay big attention to the mechanism of
its transformation. Sofa-transformer type “telescope”
one of the most common and compact sofas.
The transformation process of the sofa resembles a “telescope”, hence its name. There are also
chairs with this type of transformation (Pic. 5).
