Summary on the Chapter III 
The third chapter provides a functional-stylistic analysis of legal texts in English 
and Uzbek languages. Stylistic analysis is one of the most important analyzes in 
linguistics. As a result of this analysis, each stylistic unit, regardless of whether it 
is spoken or written, plays an important role in the given text. English and Uzbek 
languages have their own characteristics based on the legal provisions of any texts 
in these languages. It is also worth mentioning that, although there are significant 
differences in legal texts in both languages, there are also some similarities. As an 
example, we can cite the fact that most of the legal texts in both languages are 
mostly presented in passive voice. 
Stylistics is the study of language styles of linguistics, the essence of the functional 
folding of the language from the point of view of synchrony and diachrony at the 
lexical-phraseological, phonetic, morphological, word formation and syntactic 
levels, and network that studies its peculiarities, describes the norms and methods

of using the literary language in various linguistic situations, in various types and 
genres of written literature, in various spheres of social life. In Stylistics, the 
semantic and expressive nuances of parallel synonymous language expressions, 
interrelated variants of linguistic units are studied. In such options, it was possible 
to choose the one necessary for a specific speech situation. 
As a scientific discipline, stylistics finally took shape in the early twentieth century. 
Functional stylistics is one of the areas of stylistics that studies the patterns of 
language functioning in various areas of speech communication, corresponding to 
certain types of activity and representing primarily functional styles, as well as 
their more particular varieties, specificity, speech systemicity, style norms of these 
types of speech, taking into account their extralinguistic style-forming factors. 
Functional stylistics is a branch of linguistics that focuses on the analysis of 
language use in specific contexts and situations. It explores how language is used 
to achieve practical objectives, such as persuading someone to do something, 
expressing emotions, or conveying information. Functional stylistics looks at the 
purpose behind language use, the rhetorical devices or strategies employed, and the 
effect language has on the audience. It considers the cultural, social, and historical 
context of language use as well as the individual factors that influence 
communication, such as the speaker's age, gender, and social status. Functional 
stylistics is a useful tool for understanding the complexities of communication and 
for improving language use in different domains, such as business, politics, and 
media.
As it is mentioned and can be seen from abovementioned tables and analyses, in 
this chapter, various types of stylistic features of English and Uzbek legal texts, 
including the text of development strategy, are given. They include, usage of 
passive voice, metaphor, overusing of Shall, very long sentences and others.
