Kant’s theory is deontological rather than teleological. It focuses on our duties rather than our ends/goals/consequences.
Irrespective to any consequences and how we feel\
Instead of consequences he focuses on the rightness or wrongness of actions(Categorical imperative)\
Duty- is required whatever we feel about
good will is something that is good irrespective of effects
The will, Kant says, is the faculty of acting according to a conception of law. When we act, whether or not we achieve what we intend with our actions is often beyond our control, so the morality of our actions does not depend upon their outcome.

## Utilitarianism ignores the moral importance of motives.

## in Kantianism there can be conflicting duties.
