Dear Admissions Committee,
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for my exceptional student: Bekhruz Ruziboev. I have had the privilege of being Bekhruz's mathematics teacher at 19-IDUM.
Math classes with Bekhruz are full of adventures. If you sit next to him, you might discover your notebook has turned into a math sketchbook without your permission. It is all good fun, and we have had some good laughs about it. Bekhruz has a knack for making math class anything but dull, and his enthusiasm is infectious.
As his teacher, I had the pleasure of working closely with him, teaching him Algebra and Geometry. As soon as he came to our school, he showed his math aptitude and showed his skills and passion beyond the school curriculum. I remember Bekhruz coming to my room during office hours, asking for advice about the books and math-related topics, as well as whether he could participate in the Olympiads. I assured them he could get a high place if he worked hard enough, and one memorable experience that highlights his dedication was the summer break we spent preparing for the regional Mathematics Olympiads. I have seen his growth in Geometry in this period. He was good at Algebra before, but he needed some experience in Geometry. However, the “perfectionist” character that he had previously possessed was his setback: he was mostly stuck on one question and used to have poor time management. Still, with the right guidance and commitment, he was able to work on his weaknesses and secure second place in both the tenth and eleventh grades, giving him the chance to attend summer Camp next year under the supervision of the Ministry of Education.
Furthermore, he has actively contributed to his community as a volunteer and coordinator, in which he inspired his fellows to help the community. Bekhruz, with his friends, offered free tutoring sessions for disabled local students in need of math assistance. What’s more, he helped many students at school prepare for school exams and standardized tests establishing a math club. His willingness to help others and his undeniable talent make him a true asset to the academic community. Based on his involvement in my classes and his achievements over 3 years, I would assume him to be a leader and a true inspiration for people around him.
