Abdulhamid Sulayman (Chulpan)
Among the writers of the period under review highlights author Abdulhamid Sulayman (1897-1938), who signed his works mainly tahallusom Chulpan ("Morning Star"). It was quite a gifted person who has left an imprint on the history of national literature.
The writer was born in Andijan in 1897. His father wanted to give his son a good education. For a while Abdulhamid studied in a local school, and then continued his education in the madrasas of Andijan and Tashkent. He examines not only the traditional, mandatory subjects - language and the Koran, but also enthusiastically enriching themselves knowledge of Eastern philosophy, logic and history shtudiruet, penetrates deeply into the unique and wonderful world of classical poetry. Demonstrating exceptional ability to learn languages, Abdulhamid Sulayman in the script reads Firdausi, Saadi, Hafiz, Omar Khayyam and many other great poets of the past.

Curriculum Vitae Chulpan began with the publication in the newspaper "Sadoi Turkistan" poems "to relatives Turkestan." A few days later in the same newspaper he published his first story and a bit later - the article "What is literature?" Story "Doctor Muhammadier."
Talent Chulpon seen in other literary genres. For example, in 1917 he wrote a drama, "Khalil - Artisan," and three years later - the play "Vanya," which for years did not leave the scene of dramatic theaters of Turkestan.
This period of his life was in Chulpon very interesting and rich in various events. After the events of 1917, he lived some time in Orenburg. Later returned to Tashkent, where he worked until 1920 in Turkestan, the Russian Telegraph Agency (TurkRosTA). He has written, published, becoming one of the most popular writers of his time.
In 1920 he published one of the first collections of poetry, Uzbek "Young Uzbek poets," which published 13 poems Chulpan. The first single poet collections of poetry, such as "Awakening" (1922), "Sources" (1923), "The morning of charm" (1926), immediately attracted attention not only to the general population, but many scientists, literary, and far beyond outside the region.
"Chulpan - wrote a critic in the newspaper V.Mahmud" Turkeston "in December 1923 - is the new poet of the Uzbeks. Therefore, in his book "Power," currently raging spirit, state and consciousness of the Uzbek people. Here, in full voice sounded Uzbek language Uzbek melody. Here, take off into the sky wave of national spirit. In the collection are crying feeling, pain, anxiety Uzbeks. " In 1924, a well-known expert said A.Samoylovich first translated several poems Chulpan into Russian and published in Moscow. Publication was realized a small but very emotional article about a poet scientist.

Rehabilitate the poet in 1956, but only in the late eighties, his work re-publish, analyze and return the readers of his good name. And, unfortunately, not all art is now available Chulpan Russian-speaking readers. Hopefully, this is a temporary circumstance, and the outstanding work of Uzbek writer will be available for and loved and the world community.
